POLYURETHANE Foam Injection
In addition to concrete and steel pilings, we also offer polyurethane foam injection. This versatile method can be used to stabilize and repair sidewalks, driveways, and patio porches. It is also effective for raising sunken sections of a foundation and filling voids beneath slabs.
The Process
A technician will assess the affected areas to determine the best method for stabilizing the slab. After the evaluation, the technician will coordinate with the homeowner to schedule a suitable date for the repairs. The duration of the job typically ranges from half a day to three days, depending on the project's scope. Please ensure that all flooring is removed prior to the start of the work.
The crew will use a scanning device to locate the rebar within the slab, ensuring they avoid it during the process. They will mark the drilling sites every 2-3 feet along the slab with tape. The technician will then drill 5/8" holes at each marked location. A plastic port will be inserted into each hole to connect with the polyurethane foam gun. The technician will then inject polyurethane foam in 5-10 second bursts through the gun and into the slab.
